The idea for Coastal Sunshine was born during a quiet afternoon with my grandmother. As we sat together, a technician arrived to change ceiling fans and replace light bulbs — simple tasks that had become too difficult for her to manage alone. In that moment, I realized how many seniors may be quietly struggling with the same everyday challenges.

For years, the vision stayed close to my heart while I balanced work, caregiving, and raising a family. Then one day, while driving with my son, he said,
“Mom, I want to start a business.”
Without hesitation, I replied,
“I know exactly the one.”

That was the moment everything aligned.
